Our Home In Provence

For those who have not visited us yet, here is a short presentation on where we live. Believe it or not, it is a railroad station, or more correctly, it is a former RR Station.

This is what it looked like 100 years ago when it served the village of Lorgues on the Aix-en-Provenve - Nice line. This line was abandoned in 1950, and we, and previous owners before us have done a lot to make it a livable place, with lot of character. It is a solid building with very thick walls and high ceilings. The large windows and french doors let in plenty of sun. The name of the station is still on the building and the platform can be still seen in the large garden.

And this is what it looks now.
