After I posted the recipe for the Barbecued Chimney Cake on Bigoven.com and put photos and how to make it on my Blog, I got some interesting comments. and links to a maker of tools for the Cake and video links on Youtube. You can get to the tool maker by clicking on http://kurtoskalacs.eu-usa.biz/Index If the text appears in Hungarian, there is a small American flag, click on it and you will get the (not very corect) English version. For the YouTube videos after clicking Youtube.com, search for Making Kurtos Kalacs. This is the Hungarian name for the Chimney Cake. You will see this and several related videos for example the world larges Kurtos Kalacs being made in Transylvania.
Looking around in Youtube I found some good videos on how to make Hungarian dishes. For example Cooking Hungarian Paprikas, Hungarian Fried Bread and How to make Chicken Paprikas. I got these links from Reneé, who is a contributor to Bigoven.com.
